- Runner Services at every 3 kilometers, separate runner /walker lanes, post-race showers, free massage therapy (and sport therapy services in the finish area), and a baggage check service, ensures you are taken care of. A "rest and relaxation" area in the finish area will allow you to meet up with family and friends, and celebrate your race day together. A light lunch is provided, and an official medal for all finishers. All participants will be provided with a technical shirt.

There are 20 miles of brighlty lit connecting passageways, hubs, and corridors below the city core, where visitors can shop, dine, sightsee, and travel by subway train (the "METRO") to many districts and neighborhoods underground, a real joy in winter! The "Underground City" provides convenient "METRO" access to our "Marathon-Expo" (Place Bonaventure Station) and links you to over 3000 addresses, boutiques, theaters, office buildings, apartments/condo's, cinemas, attractions, universities, hotels, museums, shopping malls and other METRO stations.
-Downtown Montreal is renowned for being an "active" and vibrant city ; with restaurants of many cultures and menus, international “Haute Couture” boutiques, peaceful, shady public gardens, museums and art galleries, shopping malls and charming street terraces and patios. On many streets, such as Crescent, St. Denis, St. Laurent ,or the famous east -west artery Ste-Catherine Street, the nightlife comes "alive" with specialized lounges, bars, and clubs featuring live blues shows and jazz entertainment, Irish pubs, and discos (for those runners still rarin' to go!), “boîte à chansons” (sing-along clubs), English Pubs, local micro-brewery "beer on tap" establishments, and much, much more!
